Step #1 – Verify plugin software is correctly installed

First, check whether the relevant plugin file/s are correctly installed on your computer:

' C6 r1 ]: c# i; K1 H+ vGo to Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Plug-Ins V9.
6 L8 V1 N! A4 M% U1 ?$ A6 J& l" H, z- f6 _; C1 d/ _. E
The relevant plugin file will be named after the plugin, in this format: [PluginName].bundle. For example, the plugin file for Reel ADT will be named Reel ADT.bundle.

If the plugins you are looking for are not there, install the plugins by following the instructions in this link.2 v1 r7 a# n8 f8 P

6 U% o+ N" F( { GIf the relevant plugin files are in the above folders, restart your computer, launch Logic and see if the issue persists.

# ?0 a# D0 Y& K9 q7 Y( jIf the issue persists, perform a rescan:
& T* L: D7 x4 G5 E Z2 N2 U' E* T5 q: x, q0 x
Quit Logic.. Y# I6 ^0 a! p6 m0 i$ v2 [& y: l; z
In Finder, click on the Go menu, hold down the [Alt/Option] key and click on Library.1 W y2 H, a! j: e' a
Go to Caches > AudioUnitsCache and move com.apple.audiounits.cache to your desktop.: ?6 P) V4 [- F5 @/ X9 S
In the same Library, now go to Preferences and move the Waves Preferences folder to your desktop.
: h/ G* S6 G8 P/ j5 g8 y7 g# W( DGo to Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Waveshells V9 and run the Waves AU Reg Utility 9.X

If asked to Locate the Waves Plugins Folder, direct to Macintosh HD > Applications > Waves > Plug-Ins V9.0 J0 [" q6 E, }; U, V9 u3 ]8 W3 w
Launch Logic, go to Logic > Preferences > Plug-ins Manager.
2 I: z( |# I( r: pMake sure your Waves plugins are check-marked. If they are not, highlight all Waves listings and click Reset & Rescan Selection.
