SampleScience releases Dandelion lofi retro virtual instrument & sound library SampleScience has announced the release of Dandelion, a sample-based library that comes as a virtual instrument and in Kontakt and Decent Sampler formats. Dandelion is a collection of 40 multi-sampled sounds inspired by the lofi retro sound of Boards of Canada, Tycho, Milieu, and Lone. Each sounds is dirty, degraded with analog devices, and highly unstable! Dandelion features (plugin) 40 multi-sampled lo-fi instruments. 4 LoFi sound layers: Tape Hiss, 35 mm, Vinyl, and VHS. Multi-LFO. Room reverb. Lowpass/highpass filter. Low-CPU usage. Amplitude range controls. 3 voice modes: polyphonic, monophonic, and legato. Dandelion is priced $34 USD. It is available for Windows and Mac in VST/VST3 and AU formats. The Kontakt version requires the full version of Kontakt 5 or higher, while the Decent Sampler version runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS (VST/VST3, AU/AUv3, AAX and standalone).
